Head Football Coach/Defensive Coordinator - Ryan Teglovic
Coach Teglovic begins his 4th year as the Colonel Crawford Eagles Head Coach. He has been coaching football now for 15 years, 9 of those being as a Head Coach. He has previously been involved with the South Central and Mt. Vernon football programs. He is a South Central High School alum where he was an 11-time letterman for the Trojans competing in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He was an All-Ohioan in Basketball. He continued onto a successful baseball career at Mount Vernon Nazarene College where he was a part of the District NAIA, Regional Runner-up, and National Christian College Championship team. He is a teacher at Colonel Crawford High School and also is the Weight room Coordinator. When not a CC, he enjoys spending time with his family. He lives in Greenwich with his wife, Lori and his six children, Kristen, Abbi, Kari, Alli, Nick, and Molli.
Offensive Coordinator - Ty Stevenson
Coach Stevenson enters his 12th season coaching varsity football and his 4th here at Colonel Crawford. Previously, he coached two seasons at Norwalk high school before spending the next 6 seasons at his Alma mater, South Central. Two of those seasons, he spent as the offensive coordinator in which his offense broke the individual game rushing record and the individual season rushing record. Coach Stevenson was a 4 year starter at South Central where he owns the records for most receiving TD’s in a season, most interceptions in a career and a season, and longest kickoff return for a touchdown. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Technology from Cleveland State University. He resides in Shelby with his wife, Kelsy, and his boxer, Tucker.
Defensive Ends - Rod Stevenson
Coach Stevenson enters his 18th season coaching football and his 4th here at Colonel Crawford. He spent the first 14 seasons at South Central before coming to CC. He has spent a combined 11 years in the role of Defensive Coordinator between CC and South Central. Coach Stevenson is a 1979 graduate of South Central where he was part of a backfield nicknamed Mr. Inside and Mr. Outside. He was the latter believe it or not. He was also part of the record breaking 4x440 yard sprint medley at South Central. For the past 30 years he’s worked at Pepperidge Farms in Willard, Ohio. Coach Stevenson lives in Greenwich on his 45 acre farm and has 3 grown children Ty (Shelby, OH), Taylor (Dallas, TX), and Morgan (Greenwich, OH).
Offensive Line Coach - Scott Armrose
Coach Armrose is entering his 13th year as a high school football coach, all with Colonel Crawford. He coaches the offensive line and directs the long snappers. Coach Armrose also coaches the junior high throwers for our track program here at Colonel Crawford. He is a graduate of Northmor High School and Marietta College, where in each place he enjoyed 4 years of battling in the trenches. He currently teaches math at William Crawford Intermediate School. Scott, his wife Becky, his children Andrew, Nicholas, and Anna live in the Northmor school district. They are huge football fans of the Eagles, Knights, Browns, and Buckeyes.
Assistant Offensive Line Coach/JV - Steve Rittenour
Coach Rittenour, a 2002 graduate of Colonel Crawford, enters his 8th year on the Colonel Crawford coaching staff. His previous experiences include 3 years of coaching at the junior high, 1 year at the freshmen level, and has spent time as an assistant coach to the offensive line and offensive coordinator of the Colonel Crawford JV team. Coach Rittenour works as a registered nurse at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield in the coronary intensive care unit. Outside of coaching football, Steven enjoys hunting and most sports (esp. OSU football, Cavaliers basketball, and Cincinnati Reds baseball) and just recently graduated with his Master's degree as a Nurse Practioner. Coach Rittenour currently resides in Galion with his wife, Jill, and son, Carter.
Special Teams Coordinator/JV - Brett DeGray
Coach DeGray, a 1994 CC Alum, continues his commitment to the Colonel Crawford football program as the Special Teams Coordinator and JV coach. He was a CC football stand-out as a First Team All-Ohio Linebacker for the Eagles under Head Coach Mike Cauley. In addition to assisting with the CC football program, he coaches the high school and junior high pole vaulters (aka CC flight crew) and assists with the varsity sprinters and relays. He works for Crawford County as a court bailiff and resides in rural Crawford County with his wife Angie and their sons Payne and John.
Wide Receivers/Freshmen - Preston Foy
Coach Foy enters his 3rd season with the Colonel Crawford football program. He previously coached for 5 years at Bucyrus as a varsity assistant and freshman offensive coordinator. Coach Foy is a graduate of Bucyrus High School where he was an All-NOL defensive back and Wilmington College where he was an All-American track athlete. In addition to coaching football, he is the Head Boys Track Coach at CC and coached them to a 2010 State Championship! He teaches at Colonel Crawford as an Intervention Specialist and resides in Bucyrus with his wife, Bethany, and their sons, Lucas and Nathaniel. He is also an avid Auburn football fan. WAR EAGLE!
Defensive Tackles - Mike Cauley
Mike Cauley has been a football coach for 35 years previously including 16 years at Colonel Crawford as head coach and 8 years as assistant as well as 4 years at Willard and most recently 7 years with Bucyrus as the Assistant Head Coach under CC Alum, Jake Bruner. Coach Cauley has taught industrial technology at Colonel Crawford for the last 34 years. He earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio Northern University while playing football for the Polar Bears and then earned his graduate degree from Ashland University. He lives in Bucyrus with his wife, Melinda. They have two grown daughters, Amanda and Brittany, also CC grads!
